The new theropod with ugly name... Bicentenaria argentina.
Pose traced from the museum mount, since that's all I found about this genera.

Due to the tricky athmosphere, they may look too...reptilian. But if you look closely, you will see the short protofeathers all over the body (tried to paint this fast and without details) =P

Bicentenaria isn't all that ugly a name... I could probably find worse... maybe one of those ones starting with Y, I can't freaking pronounce those guys.

Anyway, I love the painting, very stylistic!

Beautiful. I agree with others about the atmosphere. :)
The jumping theropod reminded me a cheerful dancing child for a minute, but I guess it`s my problem. :D

Amazing work, whatever "Bicentenaria" is (and if this will be its valid name once it's described).

F. Novas said that it was named Bicentenaria after the 200 years of the foundation of our first natural history museum (wich was actually built in 1837), and the Argentinian Independence (actually, the revolution started in 1810 and the declaration is from 1816).
I'm pretty sure is a political propagada stuff. This stupid government calls every single shit "_____ del Bicentenario" (expo del Bicen..., credits del Bi..., (football)cup... schools... scholarships... newspaper... coins... etc).
