You think this is creepy? ---> TRY SEARCHING "T.REX"

1.JP raptors are monsters.
2.Some of the wrong deviations are wrong because of "details" (like feathers attached to the wrist, but no to the second finger).
3.Real Velociraptor here :icondeinonychosauria:
4.I'm not criticizing art, just scientific accuracy, so please don't get offended.
5.I do not own the art above, all belong to their respective owners and can be found by DA-searching "Velociraptor" and viewing the first page.
6.Meme based in [link]
7.Again: this is not intended to offend anybody. If you keep searching a couple of pages more, you'll find my first Velociraptor paintings, wich are wrong, too.

Based on that, the 1st check marked Velociraptor should be crossed out for having a protobeak (Don't get me wrong, though, as it's actually 1 of my favorites & otherwise accurate).

BTW, that's some good dark humor at the end of this deviation.

I don't mind inaccuracy much to be honest, especially since I've seen designs much worse than Jurassic Park. *Shudders*

... Seriously? What right have you to call other works inaccurate? Some of the very best works on here are inaccurate. Just because you don't like something does mean you have to bash it.

Saying that they are wrong isn't an insult. If

Q: What right have you to call other works inaccurate?
A: I need permission to evaluate the anatomy of those specimens? No.

"Some of the very best works on here are inaccurate."
Paleontography (paleoart) isn't just art. In fact, most of the value is on the science you put in the drawing. So, in a strict point of view, they're not good works (even if the artistic vision is flawless).

...you come to dA for accuracy? People draw EVERYTHING incorrectly, including people, animals, etc etc. Its an artistic, creative website. Its not going to be full of scientific illustrations.

I think lack of paleoaccuracy in DA is a symbol of ignorance in artist's minds. 90% of these animals are bad JP-raptor drawings. Calling them Velociraptor and having thousands of views in the first page is just sad.
And there are some wonderful speculative raptor-like (artistic, creative)depictions. Example: [link]
Sorry if you think I was a bit aggressive, as a dinosaur nerd this is my opinion. :P

Well this website isnt really known for being about good artists :/ Its more like fads and trends or fanart of whatever is popular on tv at the time.

I love the creative realistic ones, they're badass. But theres a place in my heart for creative goofy cartoon animals too. Theyre just as imaginative, just in a different way.
