This is my way to paint. I tried to illustrate the step-by-step of my own style.
Even when I look for tutorials here in DA everyday, I've never been formally taught in the art of digital painting, so maybe there are better ways to learn, I don't know, but I still believe this one is a good one to start.

About the Therizinosaurus:
1. Yes, I'm lazy enough to create a new head and colour scheme, so I took my Nothronychus and modified the proportions (after all I used a Therizino skull for the Nothro, we don't know how the Nothro skull was).
2. I stole the shape from here: [link]

Some people will make comments like: "not all dinosaurs had protofeathers", "you forgot the scales lesson", "running therizinosaurs are pretty cool", "you forgot the pennaceous feathers lesson", "unicorns do not born from eggs"...well, that's why I say PART 1 in the title, genius!
